Praise and Prayer

Once again, this is a time to praise the Lord:
  • Equip #44 finished well.
  • The preparations for two Connection programs are almost complete.
  • I had a safe drive last night to Valdosta, Georgia.
  • I have the opportunity to worship at Faith Church this Sunday!
Here are the things I'd ask you to pray about for the next two weeks:
  • Pray for safety and a clear mind as I drive on to Indianapolis today for a quick, planned visit. I'll head south again on Oct 23.
  • Mom had an allergic reaction to an antibiotic this week. Pray that she is able to quickly get over that and the original infection.
  • The Wycliffe Connection is Oct 28 - Nov 1. We will be caring for, celebrating and connecting with 29 furloughing Wycliffe colleagues and 19 of their MKs (missionary kids). Pray for us to love and serve them well and for them to be encouraged.
So grateful for your continued faithful prayers and gifts for my Wycliffe ministry. Asking the Lord to encourage your heart today with His goodness. Let me know other ways I might pray, too.

Answered Prayers

Thank you for your faithful prayers. The Lord continues to answer them in amazing ways:
  • Equip #44 is going well. We've had only minor illness with one little one. This is a group that is working hard and asking good questions.
  • Mom continues to make improvements and gain strength.
Here are the things I'd ask you to pray about for the next two weeks:
  • Equip #44 continues through Friday, Oct 11. Pray for continued health and strength.
  • Pray that we would give them all the tools they need to build their teams of prayer and financial partners for their first Wycliffe field assignment.
  • I'll be heading to Indiana for a brief visit sometime after Equip #44 ends. Pray for good timing and safety in travel.
It is such a blessing to be on this journey with you, following God together. My prayer for you is that the Lord would draw each of you closer to His heart and give you great joy and fulfillment each day. Let me know other ways I might pray, too.
